Kwerk is a portmanteau, riffing on the French pronunciation of ’co-work’ and ’quirk’. Born out of our imagination, Kwerk is a coworking space designed to make working fluid, inspiring, and creative. More than a workplace, Kwerk is a state of mind with openness, curiosity, and creativity as it’s cornerstones.
Kwerk Haussmann, in Paris, is the fourth Kwerk location and was designed as a botanical archive. Located a mere 15-minute walk from the Arc de Triomphe it emphasizes wellbeing in the workplace through specially designed desks with variable heights and an impressive assortment of 300 types of plants niched under a glass roof. Hot, cold, hard, colors, textures, scents, transparencies, everything here is sensations and experiences. The wood, the velvet, the plants, the beaded work of the Yoruba chairs from Nigeria or the metal, all tangibly play together. The atrium with a large glass roof brings the natural element with the botanical library to create a green oasis in the heart of an urban city.
